Professor Wang Yun from Peking University was Invited to Give an Academic Report

2021-09-29

Recently, the School of Basic Medical Sciences held the 5th academic forum in 2021, and invited Professor Wang Yun from School of Basic Medical Sciences, Peking University to give a special academic report on the topic of Neural System Signal Transduction-Pain, Neural Development, and Damage Repair.

In the report, Professor Wang Yun first introduced the research on the cell signal transduction pathways of pain and pain modulation, focusing on the plastic changes in peripheral and central neurons, and surrounding the core molecule of cell signal transduction-protein kinase. Explore the related signal pathways of chronic pain and negative emotions, with a view to discovering new analgesic targets, and provide new ideas for solving clinical analgesia problems. In terms of neural development and damage repair mechanisms, it mainly discusses the neural development processes involved in the establishment of neuronal polarity, migration, dendritic development, synapse formation and pruning, as well as repair of peripheral nerves after injury and neuron ischemia injury/anti-injury The key molecule of the process aims to clarify the pathological mechanism of congenital neurodevelopmental diseases and neurodegenerative diseases, discover key molecules, and propose new methods for the treatment of common clinical neuropsychiatric diseases.
