Prof. Luan enjoys the Special Government Allowance issued by the State Council and the title of "Woman Pace-setter". Now, she is the executive director of Chinese Society for Immuology, Shandong Society of Biotechnology and Shandong Society of Immunology, evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation and dissertation and reviewer of a number of domestic and foreign journals. She is the executive director of Non-party Intellectual Association. She was once a member of the 10th CPPCC of Binzhou City and the 13th CPPCC in Yantai City. 


Taking students as the center, Prof. Luan pays attention to the cultivation of students' ability, and focuses on moral education. In the past five years, Luan has completed the theoretical and practical teaching tasks for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the teaching results are excellent. She has carried out the educational reform of basic medical sciences experiment with the module of organ system. She is the chief editor of the textbook Basic Medical Sciences Organ-Systems Experiment Operating Technique, which has been recognized and praised by domestic counterparts. Luan has trained 20 postgraduates, two of whom were awarded national scholarships, three of whom were awarded the title of Outstanding Graduates of Shandong Province, and one of whom won one Outstanding Master Dissertation of Shandong Province. Prof. Luan has presided over two provincial level teaching and research projects, edited or co-edited seven textbooks and engaged in the edition of several textabooks. She has published 20 papers on teaching research and been awarded two Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards in Shandong province.


Prof. Luan has focused on the research of T-cell regulation by stem cells and its biological therapeutic mechanism. She has presided over four projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and five scientific research projects of provincial and ministerial level. She has achieved promising results in the research of stem cell regulation of T-cell response for GVHD, SLE, RA, POF and anti-aging. She has published 30 SCI papers and has won more than ten prizes, including the Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award as the first author, Shandong Provincial Medical Science and Technology Award, Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award of Universities in Shandong Province and Yantai Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2020, she was awarded the first Workshop for Non-Party Members in Yantai.
