Prof. Hong is the Director of Shandong "New Drug Loading and Release Technology and Pharmaceutical Engineering Laboratory" and Head of Yantai "Pharmaceutical Technology Innovation Service Platform".
Teaching Experiences
Prof. Hong has taught the quality course of "New Drug Dosage Form and Technology" for postgraduates in Shandong Province, and two undergraduate courses including "Pharmacy" and "Biopharmacology and Pharmacokinetics", with an annual average of more than 300 teaching hours.
Scientific Research
Prof. Hong has presided over one youth project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one key project of National Natural Science Foundation of Shandong, one doctoral project of Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province, and two university-enterprise cooperation projects, with a total funding of more than RMB 5 million yuan. She has published more than 20 SCI papers, including 14 SCI papers in Biomaterials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Acta Biomaterialia and other high-level academic journals as the first author or corresponding author.
Recognition and Awards
Prof. Hong has been listed as the Top Ten Young Innovators of the First National Animal Pharmaceutics Society and the Fifth Young Talents of the Liaoning Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Association. She won two first prizes and one third prize of Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award and one third prize of Shenyang Natural Science Academic Achievement Award.
