Wei Pengfei, PhD, Professor, Engineer
Prof. Wei is among the first batch of Scientific and Creative Talent Consultants of Colleges and Universities (Institutes) in Yantai, Senior Member of China Micron and Nanotechnology Society and Member of China Chemical Society. He received a bachelor's degree from Harbin institute of Technology (2010), a doctor's degree from University of science and Technology of China (2015), a postdoctoral fellow from Hefei National Research Center for micro-scale material science (2018), and a deputy general manager of Fujian Longsheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (2019). He joined Binzhou Medical University in 2020.
Teaching Experiences
Prof. Wei is teaching "Human Geography of the World" and will hold two undergraduate courses, namely, "Bionic medical materials and thinking innovation" and "Advances in modern biotechnology".
Scientific Research
Prof. Wei's main research interests are biological effects of micro-nano materials, molecular targeted diagnosis and treatment and Nanosystems that regulate immunity. He has published more than 35 SCI papers, including 10 SCI papers in “Biomaterials” (2014, 2015, 2019, 2020), “Advanced Functional Materials” and other high-level academic journals as the first author or corresponding author. His H-INDEX is about 16. He has applied for 27 Chinese patents/ PCT international patents and 20 have been authorized, with part of his research results has been converted by companies. He has presided one provincial Talent Program, the Youth Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the special fund program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the First-class general program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
