Biography
Li Zhipeng received PhD Degree in Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College in 2011. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the first affiliated hospital of Xiamen university from 2011 to 2013. After that, he continued to work as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Maryland, Baltimore. From January 2017, he became a Research Assistant Professor in Hong Kong Baptist University and he has been awarded the Start-up Grant for Research Assistant Professor and Faculty Research Grant during his working period in Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2019, he joined Binzhou Medical University, and has been awarded the Yantai Double Hundred Talent Plan and the Young Pharmacologist Award of the Chinese Pharmacological Society. He is currently undertaking the general program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has participated in many research projects including National Major Scientific and Technological Special Project for Significant New Drugs Development, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Hong Kong GRF, HMRF and ITF. He is a member of Pharmacology and Toxicology Committee of China Medical Association of Minorities, he is also a member of the Tonic Pharmacology Committee of Chinese Pharmacological Society. He has published over 30 scientific papers in journals, such as Brain Behavior and Immunity and British Journal of Cancer and Free Radical Biology and Medicine.
