Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital included into BMU's directly affiliated hospital

On the morning of October 14, Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was included into the directly affiliated hospital of Binzhou Medical University and the entrusted management agreement signing ceremony was held in Binzhou Zhonghai Hotel.

Zhuang Yan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Health Commission and Deputy Director of the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and She Chunming, Secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee, jointly unveiled the Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University. Song Yongxiang, Deputy Secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Zhao Shengtian, President of Binzhou Medical University, delivered speeches respectively. Mu Jie, Deputy Mayor of Binzhou and Sun Xiangjun, Vice President of Binzhou Medical University, signed the Agreement between Binzhou People’s Government and Binzhou Medical University on incorporating Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital into the directly affiliated hospital of Binzhou Medical University and entrusting management to Binzhou Medical University on behalf of the municipal government and the university respectively, Zhang Yanting, Member of the Standing Committee of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the ceremony. Jiao Benqiang, Vice Chairman of the Binzhou CPPCC and Director of the Municipal Finance Bureau, Lyu Changjun, Vice President of BMU and Director of the Binzhou Campus Management Committee of BMU, Zhang Yongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Gao Jinchang, Head of Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital attended the signing ceremony.

Song Yongxiang expressed his warm congratulations on the official signing ceremony on behalf of the Binzhou Municipal Government. Zhao Shengtian pointed out that in recent years, with the strong support of Provincial Health Commission and Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the preferential support of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, BMU attaches great importance to the construction and development of its Binzhou campus and promotes city-university co-construction, integration, and sharing. The scale of students is gradually expanding, and schools and professional settings are also increasing. Binzhou campus has took on a new look and presents a vigorous development.

Major responsible people from relevant bureaus (committees) of Binzhou City, relevant departments, Binzhou Affiliated Hospital (First School of Clinical Medicine) and School of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of BMU participated in the signing ceremony.


It is understood that Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital being incorporated into the directly affiliated hospital of BMU is another important measure of province-city  co-construction and school-city co-construction after Yantai City included Yantaishan Hospital and Yantai Stomatological Hospital into the directly affiliated hospitals of BMU in December 2020, which is of great significance to further promote the development of school-city integration, the coordinated development of education and clinical experience, and the strong alliance of medical and educational resources, to comprehensively enhance BMU's overall school-running strength and level, and to better serve the regional economic and social development and medical and health career.
