In the afternoon of October 18, Binzhou Medical University Lecture Hall organized by BMU Youth League Committee was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of Rongxiang Building. Professor Song Luzheng, researcher from the Chinese Research Institute of Fudan University, delivered a report. Zhang Yulong, Member of CPC BMU Committee and Director of BMU Publicity Department leading by CPC BMU Committee, and more than 300 teachers and students listened to the report.
Based on more than 20 years of overseas experience, Professor Song Luzheng gave a report on Looking at the Centennial Miracle of the Chinese Communist Party from Overseas, in which he described two issues that the West was most concerned about China: why Marxism finally succeed and why the Chinese Communist Party can outshine other Parties. Professor Song explained the reasons why the Chinese Communist Party can maintain its vitality and vigor through the in-depth and quotational theoretical knowledge lectures and interpretation of real-world data such as economic indicators, scientific and technological indicators, and indicators of people’s lives. The first reason is the integration of people-oriented doctrine and insistence on our original aspiration, the second is the ability to correct errors under practical rationality, and the third is the continuous influx of talented people under the characteristic of political meritocracy.
After the report, Professor Song had a discussion with teachers and students on various issues, such as how to tell the story of China well and spread the voice of China, the international situation in the post-epidemic era, and how to treat the relationship between China and the United States during the epidemic.
Song Luzheng is a political scholar used to live in France, a researcher at the China Research Institute of Fudan University, and a teacher of the online open course by Chinese Communist Youth League. Song has been observing elections in France, the United States, Italy and other places for a long time, and his research field is the comparison of political systems between the East and the West and Sino-European relations. So far, Song has published China Can Win Trilogy, The Truth of Democracy, Good Institutions, Bad Institutions, Why Are China Favorable, Changes: Looking at the Decline of Western Democracy from the Rise of China and many other books.
