Recently, the Office of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Award Committee announced the evaluation results of 2021 science and technology Award, and three scientific research achievements of our University won the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Award. Among them, as the leading unit, we won a second prize and a third prize for Scientific and Technological Progress, and as a participating unit, we won a third prize for Scientific and Technological Progress.
The Mechanism of lncRNA Regulating the Occurrence of Pulmonary Fibrosis and its Application in Diagnosis and Treatment led by Professor Lyu Changjun won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress. This project takes the formation of fibrosis in the occurrence of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis as the core content of the research, and takes the information transmission mediated by long chain non-coding RNA (lncRNA) as the starting point, studying the mechanism of lncRNA regulating the occurrence of pulmonary fibrosis, and searching for biomarkers of pulmonary fibrosis and drug intervention targets. This makes primary contributions to the development of prevention and treatment drugs for pulmonary fibrosis. The Innovation on Key Preparation Technology and Functional Research and Application of Sea urchin Polysaccharide led by Professor Wang Chunhua won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress. This achievement developed a polysaccharide preparation technology integrating extraction, ultrafiltration concentration and high-efficiency cycle chromatography suitable for industrial production, and confirmed the novel molecular structure of sea urchin polysaccharide. The mixed compensation mechanism was first proposed to maintain the stable content of polysaccharide products, which significantly improved the quality, stability and production efficiency of polysaccharide products. Associate Professor Zhao Wei participated in the “Research and Development and Clinical Application of New Strategies for the Pathogenesis and Targeted Diagnosis and Treatment of Sepsis Immune Thrombocytopenia” won the third prize of Scientific and Technological Progress.
