Recently, Binzhou Medical University (BMU) was awarded the title of National Advanced Unit for Online Teaching of Continuing Education in Colleges and Universities in the national online teaching evaluation of continuing education initiated by China Education Online. The case of Exploration of Medical Adult Education Teaching Reform Model in the Internet Plus Context put forward by our University was successfully selected as an excellent case of online teaching of continuing education in colleges and universities across the country.
This event was initiated by China Education Online, aiming to promote the IT application in continuing education for higher education, improve the online teaching quality of continuing education in colleges and universities in the new era, and set a demonstrative and leading example of advanced educational concepts and characteristics of online education. A total of 23 national outstanding cases were selected in the activity, and 18 advanced units of online teaching of continuing education in colleges and universities nationwide. It is reported that outstanding cases will be promoted nationwide through a number of platforms such as the China Education Online All-Media Platform and the China Education Online Higher Continuing Education Channel.
Over the years, BMU's continuing education digital curriculum resource construction has always adhered to the quality strategy and strengthened the teaching design link. In April 2020, it organized the application and project selection of the school-level adult higher education (continuing education) digital curriculum. 8 provincial-level adult higher-education characteristic courses, 3 provincial-level quality resource sharing courses, and 12 provincial-level adult higher-education digital courses have been set up.
In the next step, the School of Continuing Education will continue to work hard to create a lifelong learning service model that integrates resource supply, online learning support, learning achievement certification and conversion. It will center on learners, provide learners with “individualized, intelligent, mobile and data-based” learning experience, and better serve the lifelong learning strategy of Chinese people.
