Nanyuan Dining Hall on Hedong Area of Yantai Campus is open in New Semester!

In order to effectively ensure food safety for teachers and students on campus, provide a better dining environment, and implement the initiative to serve teachers and students, the Nanyuan Dinning Hall on Hedong area of Yantai campus was built and has entered the trial operation stage. On February 22, Sun Xiangjun, Deputy Dean and member of the BMU Party Committee, Zhou Lianshun, member of the BMU Party Committee and Director of Organization Department of the CPC BMU Committeethe and Zhang Yulong, member of the BMU Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the BMU CPC Committee guided the operation and management of the dining hall on site.

Barrier-Free Facilities

The new dining hall enjoys a reasonable layout, complete dining and kitchen facilities, and functional rooms, including cooking room, boiling room, meal preparation room, sample retention room, washing room and refrigerated storage room. At the same time, “Internet + clean kitchen and stove” is set up in the dining hall, through which, real-time live broadcast of the kitchen and real-time viewing of kitchen sanitation and food processing operations are realized. It fully guarantees teachers and students' right to know and supervise. Barrier-free signs can be seen everywhere in the bright and spacious new dining hall, providing convenience for special students. The temperature of the dining hall is not only derived from the heat of food, but also from the benevolent atmosphere in campus. There are many dishes in the dining hall, including home-cooked dishes, such as, noodles, jiaozi, huntun and baozi and various specialties, such as, rice noodles, malatang, hot-spicy pot, chicken pot and Nanjing Xiaolongbao. In addition, Nanyuan Dining Hall also provide staff meals (by portion) for teachers.

Nanyuan Dining Hall has provided a more nutritious, clean and warm dining environment for teachers and students. It can accommodate nearly 300 people and effectively guarantee the health of teachers and students. The dinging hall will be officially put into use before the start of school on February 24, so that teachers and students can enjoy delicious food after returning to school. In the next step, we will continue to focus on improving the quality of catering to further meet the diverse dining needs of teachers and students.
