Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education released the list of winners of the 9th Teaching Achievement Award for Higher Education. Our school has won 14 achievements, including one special prize, six first prizes, and seven second prizes. The special prize came to Innovation and development of the talent training system for disabled medical students through 36 years of adherence, concept leading and multi-party collaboration. Both the number and quality of prizes have hit an record high.
It reflects our achievements in the innovation of talent training model, the construction of disciplines and courses, the reform of teaching methods and practical teaching, and the improvement of teachers' teaching ability in recent years and it is the fruit of collective exploration and active practice of education and teaching reform by the majority of faculty and staff.
We attaches great importance to the application of the Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award. It was planned in advance by special deployment, phased promotion, and key cultivation. We fully investigated the achievements cultivation condition of each school and has organized over ten times of expert evaluation seminars inside and outside the school to make improvements on topic selection and positioning, marking achievements sorting and condensing, and writing of the application material to cultivate a group of high-level teaching achievements with solid foundation and distinctive characteristics. All relevant departments collaborated to ensure the high-quality application in an all-round way.
Next, we will continue to improve the award-winning achievements, and actively do a good job in the application of National Teaching Achievement Award. At the same time, we will take it as an opportunity to promote the application of the award-winning achievements, give full play to the demonstration, leading and radiating role of excellent teaching achievements, encourage teachers to devote to education and teaching research, and continuously improve education and teaching quality, to make new and greater contributions to the upgrading of our school.
The prizes of Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (for Higher Education), the highest award in the field of education and teaching in Shandong province, are awarded every four years. It aims to promote high-quality development of education by awarding groups and persons who make great achievements in teaching reform, research and practice. The 9th Shandong Province Teaching Achievement Award (for Higher Education) selected a total of 607 award-winning achievements, including 32 special prizes, 201 first prizes and 374 second prizes.
