Being away from home can be challenging for just about anyone. But through the efforts of our student counselors, Binzhou Medical University feels more like a home away from home. The school organized bonding exercises, mental health assessments and city trips for us and didn't forget to take care of us when the pandemic broke out. One of my favourite memories was a hiking trip with my classmates that I went in 2017, organized by our student counselor, where we went cherry picking. Who wouldn’t appreciate eating cherries to their heart’s content? Our needs as students are taken good care of in the best way they can fulfill.
Looking back, I have had a great time here, I have shaped myself into the being I desire to be and I couldn’t be more proud.
