Recently, MUHAMMAD DANISH YAQOOB, an undergraduate international student from the 2017 Fall 4th Class of the School of International Studies, published a paper titled Targeting Mitochondria for Cancer Photodynamic Therapy in the SCI indexed journal Photodiagnosis and Photodynamic Therapy. This paper systematically expounds the basic principles of photodynamic therapy and the role of mitochondria in cellular responses, providing a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of solid tumors by mitochondria-targeted photodynamic therapy.
Photodiagnosis and Photodynamic Therapy is an internationally renowned academic journal in the field of oncology. The publication of this paper marks a new level of scientific research of the undergraduate medical students in our school, and it will play a positive role in improving the enthusiasm of international students in our school for scientific research and realizing the high-quality development of international education.
