On December 24, the annual award ceremony of 2021 Trans-Lingual Chanting Conference of Confucian Classics was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The performance named Chinese presented by 18 Chinese and international students of our school was highly appreciated.
The international students of our school recorded a video named An Argument about the Sun for this activity, which stood out among over 3,200 videos of contestants from 47 countries. After experts' evaluation, online voting and other sections, the international student team of our school was awarded the title of "the best international chanters", and our school was awarded the "Excellent Organization" prize.
2021 Trans-Lingual Chanting Conference of Confucian Classics was sponsored by China Confucius Foundation, Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, and Shandong Provincial Department of Education, co-organized by convergence media of Chinakongzi and Translators Association of Shandong, approved and greatly supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, and assisted by Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Translators Association of China and Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The activity aimed to promote exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
