Teacher-Student Football and Basketball Games Held by BMU Celebrating the Centenary of the Communist Youth League of China

From May 4th to 11th, in order to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Youth League of China, BMU held the teacher-student games with the theme of the Youth’s Hearts to the Party and Contributions to a New Era to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Youth League of China. Sun Xiangjun, Vice President and Zhang Yulong, Member of CPC BMU Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC BMU Committee, attended relevant activities.

 

The teacher-student football match began at 5:00 pm on May 4th and the basketball match began at 12:00 on May 5th  respectively. Vice President Sun Xiangjun kicked off the matches. More than 100 teachers and students from various schools and departments formed 4 teams for the football games, including 1 team formed by international students. More than 120 teachers and students formed 12 teams for the basketball games.

The games lasted for 8 days, with 23 football and basketball matches. During the competition, teachers and students, adhering to the principle of putting health and safety first, demonstrating friendship, skills and the care between teachers and students, gave full play to the sports spirit of unity, friendship and hard work, which reflected the high morale of BMU people, and presented wonderful games.

 

During the epidemic prevention and control period, BMU actively facilitated to organize various cultural and sports activities, created a strong campus atmosphere of the Youth’s Hearts to the Party and Contributions to a New Era, enriched the campus extra-curricular cultural life during the period of epidemic, and demonstrated BMU teachers and students’ love of life, high spirits and style of living up to their time. This has added a bright color to the centenary of the Communist Youth League of China.
