From June 10th to 11th, the 4th Peking University Stomatological Masters Forum & Case Report Meeting of Yantai Stomatological Hospital affiliated to Binzhou Medical University was successfully held. BMU, Yantai Stomatological Hospital of BMU and School of Stomatology of Peking University signed a strategic cooperation agreement. President Zhao Shengtian, Dean Guo Chuanbin and Secretary of General Party Branch Zhou Yongsheng of the School of Stomatology of Peking University, Deputy Director Zhang Kuiyang of Yantai Municipal Health Commission and other leading experts attended the opening ceremony through online and offline. Relevant leaders of BMU’s School of Stomatology attended the meeting as well.

At the opening ceremony, Zhao Shengtian briefly introduced the School of Stomatology of BMU and the Yantai Stomatological Hospital of BMU. He expressed congratulations to the convening of the forum and the signing of the tripartite strategic cooperation agreement. He said, BMU, in line with the principle of resource sharing, collaborative development, and mutual benefit, would concentrate the power of the three parties in medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, personnel training and others, and improve the teaching and scientific research ability and the level of subject construction, in order to promote the development of oral medicine in Shandong Province and even the whole country, and make a greater contribution to the improvement of people's oral health.

Signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement
After the opening ceremony, BMU’s and PKU’s School of Stomatology, and BMU’s affiliated Yantai Stomatological Hospital and PKU’s Stomatological Hospital signed strategic cooperation agreements respectively.
The PKU’s Stomatological Masters Forum is co-sponsored by BMU’s School of Stomatology, Yantai Stomatological Hospital of BMU and Yantai Stomatological Association. The forum invited Guo Chuanbin, Zhou Yongsheng, Yue Lin, Ge Lihong and more than 20 famous experts from the School of Stomatology of Peking University to carry out in-depth online and offline exchanges and discussions, focusing on the application of digital technology in stomatology, the clinical concept of multi-disciplinary joint diagnosis and treatment, etc. In addition, Yantai Stomatological Hospital of BMU also organized a report meeting on the new progress of oral cases, and stomatological experts from Peking University made comments on the cases and shared their valuable clinical experience.
The year 2022 marks the 35th anniversary of the School of Stomatology and the 70th anniversary of the affiliated Yantai Stomatological Hospital. In recent years, under the correct leadership of the CPC BMU Committee, the School of Stomatology has been developing continuously. Recently, the stomatology major has been awarded as the national first-class major. At present, the construction of Yantai International Stomatological Center has started. Through the in-depth cooperation with Peking University, the School of Stomatology and Yantai Stomatological Hospital of BMU will step into a new period of high-quality development with new ideas and new patterns, and make greater contributions to the development of oral health in China.
