BMU Wins Awards in 1st Shandong Oral English Contest for College Student

Recall of Centurial Glory, Restart of Youth--1st Shandong Oral English Contest for College Student was wrapped up on May 5. Zhang Jiwei from Binzhou Medical University (BMU) claimed the second prize; Zheng Yichao, Xin Haoyi and Liu Xian also from BMU won the merit award.


The 30-day contest was held online in full process, with the participation of nearly 12,000 college students from around Shandong. 5 first prize winners, 15 second prize winners, 40 third prize winners, 100 merit award winners and 140 incentive award winners were selected. The contest demonstrated the spiritual outlook of contemporary college students.


The contest was hosted by the Shandong Provincial Work Committee on College and University Libraries and Information, and organized by the Reader Service and Reading Promotion Sub-committee of Shandong Provincial Work Committee on College and University Libraries and Information, Shandong Normal University Library and Shandong Youth University of Political Science Library. Beijing Langting Educational Technology Research Institute provided technical support. BMU Library sent students to the contest under the direction of the School of International Studies.
