On the theme of New Force and New Start Celebrating the 20th CPC National Congress, the 2022 Welcoming Party for Freshman Students was held concurrently on the Yantai and Binzhou campuses of Binzhou Medical University (BMU) on the evening of September 29. Sun Xiangjun, Deputy Party Secretary of BMU, and Zhang Yulong, Party Committee member and head of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of BMU, attended the party and watched the performances together with more than 7,000 teachers and students from the campuses. The evening party was streamed live for the first time to break the limits of time and space with more than 200,000 viewers.

The welcoming party commencing with the opening dance Sing a Folk Song to the Party was divided into three chapters: Start with Shared Dreams, Express Shared Feelings and Celebrate together. Best wishes were sent to the freshmen through dances, recitations, songs, and other forms.
