Recently, Shandong Administration of Sports and the Health Commission of Shandong Province jointly announced the second batch of pilot projects of sports and health integration in the province, including International sports and Health Integration Talent Training and other four projects submitted by Binzhou Medical University (BMU).
This selection process was organized by the Shandong Administration of Sports and the Health Commission of Shandong Province to cultivate and promote a number of industrial benchmarks and demonstrative models of physical education and health integration, which sum up the experience in physical education and health integration and play a guiding and exemplary role in the province and even the whole country. 80 projects was included in the first batch after submission by organizations across the province, experts review and online display.
The approval of these projects creates an opportunity for BMU to continuously consolidate and rely on its Two Advantageous and Two Characteristic Specialties operating model, effectively promote the deep integration of physical education and health, constantly develop new drivers and new advantages, and contribute to the Healthy Shandong strategy by leveraging the advantages and characteristics of its disciplines and specialties and focusing on the innovation of physical education and health practices, talent training and team building, research of key technologies, conversion of scientific research results, health industry development, etc.
