To maintain the campus secure and stable, on March 3, Che Xianli, Secretary of the CPC BMU Party Committee, Sun Xiangjun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BMU Party Committee, Vice Presidents Lyu Changjun and Wang Guangcheng, went to Yantai and Binzhou campuses along with the persons in charge of relevant departments to make an overall inspection of security work and a further arrangement for the university-wide security work.

The inspection team conducted comprehensive and meticulous inspections in Rongxiang Building, the Animal Experiment Center, the International Student Apartment Building, the student dormitories, the teachers' dormitories, the pandemic prevention materials warehouse in West Street, the hazardous chemicals warehouse, the health post, the business complex, student canteens, the College Student Activity Center and the kindergarten as well as different units, departments and schools (departments). The inspection team analyzed the problems found in the inspection one by one and scheduled to address them on the site in order to solve them in the shortest possible time and required related units to further optimize their security records, improve their work quality and effectiveness, and immediately remove hidden dangers if possible. For those problems that cannot be removed at once in a timely manner, specific solutions will be worked out, with concrete responsibility placed on individuals and prompt implementation in place to ensure no blind zones in security and no room for danger.
During the inspection, the BMU’s leadership held on-site work meetings respectively to hear the reports made by responsible persons from related units and schools. The inspection team recognized the units for the work they had done and made a further arrangement for keeping campuses in safety. First, they should raise the level of awareness and understand the situation. Second, they should focus on key areas and take strict precautions against hidden dangers. Third, they should check for hidden danger with concentrated attention. Fourth, they should further construction through inspection and make efforts in rectification. Fifth, they should strengthen the construction of the leadership team and refine the mechanism. All the schools and units should attach great importance to security and regularly hold joint meetings of Party organizations and administrations to analyze and judge potential safety hazards. Main responsible persons of Party organizations and administrations of all levels should take overall responsibility, take the lead, arrange, organize, coordinate and advance major security work in person, and the persons specially in charge of security work should devote most of their energy to the work to prevent all kinds of safety accidents from happening.
The persons in charge of the School Office, Party Committee Publicity Department, Student Work Department (Office), Human Resources Office, Teaching Affairs Office, Science and Technology Office, Postgraduate Affairs Office, Assets Management Office, Logistics Management Office and Security Office as well as different schools partake in the inspection in groups for company.
