On March 24th, the final round of the Yellow River Bay International Youth Chinese Language Competition was held in Qufu, Jining. This competition received a total of 257 works from 49 countries, and after evaluation from experts, a total of 25 works entered the finals. After fierce competition, AHIAFOR MAXWELL, a Ghanaian international student, and YAQOOB MUHAMMAD DANISH, a Pakistani international student, won first and third prizes respectively. Their instructors were awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award.
In the final round, all contestants need to deliver a speech titled The Yellow River in My Eyes, focusing on the ecological protection and high-quality development strategy of the Yellow River Basin and sharing their thoughts and insights on the protection and development of the Yellow River. Maxwell expressed his deep emotions for the Yellow River in his speech, and the oath of I am willing to protect the Yellow River and promote the Yellow River as a practitioner was impassioned and resounding. From Chinese calligraphy to the culture of the Yellow River, Danish spoke eloquently and expressed his profound experience, expressing his willingness to bring back the Yellow River culture to his country.

This competition is hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Shandong provincial television station, and organized by Qufu Normal University (sino-foreign youth exchange base).
