In order to promote the spirit of sports and showcase youthful vitality, BMU held the 2023 Spring Athletics Games in a grand manner at the stadium of the Binzhou Campus on April 28 and at the Yantai Sports Park on May 12 and 13. A total of 41 teams representing the university and its affiliated hospitals, with over 1800 athletes, participated in the games. They competed fiercely on the green field, giving their all, sweating it out, and experiencing the joy of achievement. They showcased the vibrant spirit and youthful energy of BMU in the realm of sports.

At the Binzhou Campus, the opening ceremony of the games was declared by Che Xianli, Secretary of the CPC BMU Committee. Vice President Lyu Changjun delivered the opening speech, and Vice President Zhao Jinggang presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the closing speech. Liang Chen represented the referees and took the oath, while Sun Shuyi represented the athletes and took the oath. At the Yantai Campus, the opening ceremony of the games was announced by President Zhao Shengtian. Sun Xiangjun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BMU Committee delivered the opening speech, and Vice President Bai Xianyong presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the closing speech. Vice President Wang Guangcheng presided over the closing ceremony. Liang Chen represented the referees and took the oath, while Yin Ziheng represented the athletes and took the oath.
