Since participating in the Young Teachers Teaching Competition in 2021, Teacher Xie Zhen has won the second prize in the 8th Shandong Provincial Young Teachers Teaching Competition and the first prize in the 9th Shandong Provincial Young Teachers Teaching Competition. In the selection competition for the 6th National Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Higher Education held in Shandong Province at the end of February this year, Teacher Xie Zhen performed outstandingly and secured a spot in the final of the Medical Science group. In the national finals, he remained composed and delivered an outstanding performance, fully demonstrating the solid teaching foundation and admirable demeanor of BMU teachers.

In recent years, the university has attached great importance to the teaching competition for young teachers, adhering to the competition-driven teaching and integration of teaching and competition mechanism. Prior to the competition, the Academic Administration Office organized the establishment of a preparation and guidance team, conducting specialized training, trial lectures, simulated exercises, and observation and evaluation sessions as part of the preparation activities. The First School of Clinical Medicine invited experienced subject teachers to meticulously refine the teaching design of each segment for Xie Zhen. While fulfilling demanding clinical responsibilities, Teacher Xie Zhen devoted full efforts to prepare for the finals.

The National Young Teachers' Teaching Competition is jointly organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Education. It is the highest-level teaching competition for young teachers in higher education institutions in China. The competition is held every two years and consists of five categories: Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, and Ideological and Political Education.
