On the morning of July 29, Professor Dr. Andreas Christian Kurz of Charité– Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and researcher Qin Song, Deputy Director (presiding over the work) of Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences respectively led the delegation to visit Binzhou Medical University. President Zhao Shengtian met with delegations in the reception room on the 10th floor of the University office building.

Zhao Shengtian expressed his warm welcome to Professor Dr. Andreas Christian Kurz and Director Qin Song, and then introduced the basic situation, development plan, target orientation and current research situation of the University. Professor Dr. Andreas Christian Kurz and Director Qin Song spoke highly of the University's school-running characteristics and development achievements in recent years, introduced the scientific research in the field of stem cell and looked forward to the future in-depth cooperation. They conducted in-depth exchange and discussion on talent cultivation, University-Institute joint construction, and the frontiers of academic and scientific research development.

After the meeting, the University held a Guest Professor Appointment Ceremony, and appointed Professor Dr. Andreas Christian Kurz of Charité– Universitätsmedizin Berlinas the guest professor of Binzhou Medical University. Professor Dr. Andreas Christian Kurzgave an academic report entitled Reconstructing Organs and Regeneration in the Lake of Benevolent Mind academic lecture hall, and visited some laboratories in the University for exchanges accompanied by the Head of the Science and Technology Department.
Heads of Human Resources Department, Science and Technology Department, and School of Basic Medical Sciences attended the meeting.
Andreas Christian Kurtz is a professor at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Head of the BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies, and Head of the Department of Digital Stem Cell Technologies of Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering.
