On the afternoon of September 7, BMU held a meeting of officials to announce the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee on the adjustment of the university leadership. Gong Wendong, Vice Minister of the Organization Department of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Hao, the Chief Inspector of Schools of Shandong Provincial Education Department read out the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and presided over the meeting.
According to the decision, Sun Xiangjun was appointed Secretary of CPC BMU Committee and Huang Fei was appointed Deputy Secretary of the CPC BMU Committee and President of the university. Comrade Che Xianli no longer held the position of the Secretary of CPC BMU Committee and Comrade Zhao Shengtian no longer held the position of BMU President.
Che Xianli, Zhao Shengtian, Sun Xiangjun and Huang Fei made speeches respectively. Che Xianli said he fully upheld and resolutely obeyed the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, and sincerely thanked CPC Shandong Provincial Committee for its training and trust. He deeply reviewed the development of the university as well as his work and life of more than six years of his working in Binzhou Medical University. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Shandong Provincial People’s Government, and the local municipal Party committee and government; all members of the university leadership and all university officials; senior colleagues and retired comrades; and teachers, students and medical staff for their support for the development of the university. He said that no matter where he is in the future, he will continue to pay attention to and make contributions to the development of the university.
Zhao Shengtian said he wholeheartedly upheld and resolutely obeyed the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, and sincerely thanked CPC Shandong Provincial Committee for its training and trust. He briefly reviewed his work in the past three years and expressed that he was full of confidence and expectations for the future of Binzhou Medical University.
Sun Xiangjun said he fully upheld the decision of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, resolutely obeyed the arrangement, and sincerely thanked CPC Shandong Provincial Committee for its trust and training. He said, after he took over the “baton” of the reform and development of the university, he was deeply aware of the glorious mission and the heavy responsibility. He would forge a character of loyalty, remain true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, make great efforts to take responsibility, and forever preserve the political character of Communists.
Huang Fei said he firmly upheld the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and thanked the Committee for its trust and training. He said when he returned to his Alma mater and took over the baton of the President, he would fully and strictly stress political awareness, make pioneering efforts to take responsibility, adhere to unity and boost cohesion, and set an example by preserving Communists' political character of integrity. The meeting also announced the appointment and removal of other officials.
Responsible comrades of the Fifth Officials Division of the Organization Department of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, University Officials Division of Shandong Provincial Education Department, members of the university leadership and middle-level officials of the university attended the meeting.
