Recently, the first batch My Qilu Love theme essay and short video competition for international students in Shandong Province, hosted by the Shandong Education Association for International Exchange and undertaken by China University of Petroleum, was successfully concluded. Our school won the Excellent Organization Award, a total of 5 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 10 excellence awards, and 2 excellent instructor awards.
Since the launch of this competition, the school has attached great importance to this activity, and the School of International Studies has actively organized international students to register for the competition and submitted 24 entries. After expert review, the international students of our school finally won 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes and 7 excellence awards in the essay category; won 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 3 excellence awards in the short video category.
Launched in March this year, the competition aims to promote cultural exchanges among international students in Shandong Province, enhance their writing and language expression skills, and improve their understanding and awareness of Chinese culture.
