On October 22, the tenth Taishan Cup National Medical Imaging Technology Practical Skills Competition for (Undergraduate) College Students and the sixth National Innovation Competition for Young Teachers of Medical Imaging Technology concluded in Chongqing. The ten students from the School of Medical Imaging of BMU won a second prize in the group category and seven first prize, six second prize, and one third prize in individual events.
This competition, sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Society of Imaging Technology, took place online and offline.
In the online virtual simulation event, BMU students Wu Ruotong, Zhang Jiahe, Yu Xinru, Li Xiaopeng, and Sun Yuran won first prize, Zhu Xuyang, Zhai Kehao, Cui Li, and Du Jia won second prize, and Guo Rong won third prize. In the offline virtual simulation event, Sun Yuran won first prize in CT examination, Li Xiaopeng won first prize in MRI examination, Zhang Jiahe won second prize in DR examination, and Cui Li won second prize in the optional bedside DR examination.
Inspired by the competition, BMU will keep advancing educational reforms catering to high-quality growth goals, explore integrated competition-teaching talent cultivation models, and promote interaction and mutual promotion between teaching and learning to steadily enhance the quality and standards in talent cultivation.
