Xie Shuyang pointed out that young teachers are the new force for the development of BMU. The prosperity of young teachers leads to the prosperity of the University, and strong young teachers leads to a strong University. He sent a message to all young teachers that firstly they must adhere to the original aspiration of nurturing morality and fostering talents, keep in mind the mission of imparting knowledge and educating people, always adhere to be a moral person and a moral teacher, love teaching as a career, contribute to teaching activities, and do research for teaching. Second, they must be equipped with the basic skills of solid teaching methods, take the classroom as the main position of education, do a good job in classroom teaching, and be competence in teaching practice. Third, they must work hard, seek for knowledge, be diligent in thinking and learning, constantly update teaching concepts and innovate teaching methods.

During the activity, Xie Zhen, second prize winner of the 6th National Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition and a teacher of the First School of Clinical Medicine, shared the strategies and methods of classroom teaching organization with examples from the teaching competition. Zhao Huilin, the first prize winner of the 8th Shandong Provincial Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition and a teacher of School of Basic Medicine, explained all the links and core points of teaching design in detail by giving examples. Ji Xiaofei, the first prize winner of the 8th Shandong Provincial Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition and the first prize winner of Shandong Provincial Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Competition and a teacher of School of Basic Medicine, gave a “Pathogenic Biology” demonstration class. Professor Zhang Xiaoli spoke on behalf of the Teachers' Teaching Competition gold medal instructors.
