The 11th Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition was Successfully Concluded

From November 23th to 24th, the final of the 11th Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition sponsored by the Academic Administration Office was held in Room C2003 of the Teaching and Research Building of Yantai Campus. Vice President Xie Shuyang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Xie Shuyang pointed out that young teachers are an important force for university development and talent training, and the capacity of young teachers’ team is related to the future of university development. Teaching competition is an important platform for young teachers to share ideas, exchange skills, show their elegant styles and realize self-development, which is conducive to young teachers to further innovate education and teaching concepts and improve classroom teaching ability and professional level. He requested that young teachers should take this competition as an opportunity to promote learning and teaching ability, pull the improvement of their own teaching skills in the same direction with the development of BMU, and improve the value of participating the competition by deeper understanding. With the competition as the carrier, young teachers of BMU in the new era should display their marvelous teaching styles.

The final competition this year continued to adopt the provincial competition standard of on-site selection of teaching segments. After the preliminary selection of BMU, 26 young teachers conducted on-site teaching according to the selected situation.

After evaluation, 5 teachers won the first prize, including Wang Jingjing from the First School of Clinical Medicine (Binzhou Medical University Hospital), Miao Mengxin from School of International Studies, Xu Rui from School of Nursing (School of Gerontology), Li Lan from School of Basic Medicine, and Liu Yanan from School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Qu Qian from School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other 7 teachers won the second prize. 13 teachers won the third prize, including Gao Qian from the Second School of Clinical Medicine (Yantai Affiliated Hospital of BMU).
