On the evening of December 18, the fifth of 2023 (or forty-seventh) Young Doctor Lecture Hall sponsored by the Communist Youth League Committee of Binzhou Medical University (BMU) and organized by the Communist Youth League Committee of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in the Rongxiang Building's lecture hall. The lecture was given by Dr. Yu Donglin from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over 700 students listened to the lecture online or in person.
On the theme of Misunderstandings on TCM Diet for Health Preservation, Dr. Yu combined clinical research and teaching experience, explained TCM theories, and provided health advice to students from perspectives like common foods' properties, meridian tropisms, functions, contemporary youths' physical conditions, dietary preferences, lifestyle habits, and more.
Dr. Yu Donglin is a Doctor of Medicine, postdoctoral fellow at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, associate professor, and postgraduate supervisor. Graduating from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, he currently serves as director of the Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Teaching and Research Office and teaches courses including Basic Theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Traditional Culture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
