BMU Launches "Sci-Tech Talents Enter Enterprises" Program

On January 25, Binzhou Medical University (BMU) held the launch ceremony for the Scientific and Technological Talents Enter Enterprises program in the conference room of Rongxiang Building. Wang Shuguang, Member of CPC BMU Party Committee and Vice President of BMU, and Wang Yanli, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Promotion Center of the Yantai Science and Technology Bureau, attended the event and delivered speeches. Qi Peng, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Promotion Center of the Yantai Science and Technology Bureau, Bi Rongjian, Secretary General of the Yantai Intellectual Property Association, Zhang Huili, Director of the Laishan District Science and Technology Bureau, principals from local enterprises, heads of relevant schools, consulting researchers, young doctors, among others, participated in the event. The ceremony was hosted by Xu Hongmei, Head of the Department of Science and Technology of BMU.

Vice President Wang Shuguang warmly welcomed all the guests and introduced the university's school-running pattern, characteristic disciplines, talented team and scientific and technological innovation achievements. He noted that BMU has always regarded serving regional economic and social development as our mission and insisted on industry-university-research-application integration, as well as cooperation with enterprises.


Wang Yanli extended hearty congratulations on the action's launch. She hoped the action would serve as an opportunity to strengthen industry-university-research collaboration, actively explore sci-tech innovation models, and empower high-quality regional economic and social development.


At the launch ceremony, Wang Shuguang, Wang Yanli, Bi Rongjian and Zhang Huili jointly presented appointment certificates to the consulting researchers. Wang Bin made a speech as a representative of consulting researchers. The participants held in-depth discussions on deepening university-enterprise cooperation, promoting talent sharing, jointly building research platforms, and driving the transfer and transformation of technical results.


BMU's Scientific and Technological Talents Enter Enterprises program aims to drive government-industry-university-research collaboration, strengthen collaborative innovation between the university and enterprises, facilitate transfer and transformation of the university's technical results to enterprises, provide strong intellectual support for enterprises' efforts for technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and proactively contribute to high-quality regional economic and social development.
