BMU Vice President Tian Geng Meets with Jesper Bo Nielsen’s Delegation from SDU

On March 16, BMU Vice President Tian Geng met with Jesper Bo Nielsen, Director of the Department of Public Health at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Ou Tie, Secretary General of the International Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives and Director of the China-Denmark Cooperation Office at SDU, and other members in their delegation in the conference room of the office building.

Meeting Scene

On behalf of BMU, Tian Geng welcomed Jesper Bo Nielsen and briefly introduced BMU’s reform and developments in recent years. He emphasized BMU’s “two high-ranking and two specially offered programs.” Jesper Bo Nielsen introduced basic information about SDU and the Department of Public Health. After that, the two sides conducted discussions on joint doctorate programs, exchange between students, and joint research projects, and reached consensus on many issues. They agreed to extend cooperation into broader areas, draw on each other’s strengths, and jointly boost the development of the two universities.

Symposium Scene

After the meeting, Jesper Bo Nielsen held discussions with teachers on behalf of the Graduate School of BMU and the School of Health Management at BMU in the conference room, and visited the Medical Research Center and the National Demonstration Park for Special Education.


Attendees included responsible persons of the Graduate School, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and the School of Health Management.
