Binzhou Medical University and University of Medical Sciences of Havana signed the Memorandum of Understanding

On the morning of April 24, Magdemily Fallat Ramos, Vice President of International Affairs, and Rene Oramas González, Vice President of Academic Affairs of University of Medical Sciences of Havana visited our university. Xie Shuyang, Vice President of BMU, met with Magdemily Fallat Ramos and her delegation.

Xie Shuyang briefly introduced BMUs reform and development in recent years, focusing on the university development pattern of “Two Advantages and Two Features”. He hoped that the two universities would take this exchange as an opportunity to optimize details, strengthen communication, and promote all-round cooperation, so as to make greater contributions to the friendly exchanges between each other. Magdemily Fallat Ramos introduced the relevant situation of University of Medical Sciences of Havana, further clarified the cooperation consensus reached during the visit of Shandong Provincial Government Delegation to Cuba in March this year, and hoped that the two universities could further promote the cooperation for mutual benefit.

Xie Shuyang and Magdemily Fallat Ramos signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.


After the meeting, Magdemily Fallat Ramos and her delegation visited The Second School of Clinical Medicine (Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University).


Leaders in charge of Academic Administration Office, the Graduate School of BMU, International Cooperation and Exchanges Office, The Second School of Clinical Medicine (Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University), School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Pharmacy, and School of International Studies attended the meeting.
