On the morning of September 24th, Binzhou Medical University hosted an appointment ceremony in the reception room on the 10th floor of the office building, and appointed Prof. Jesper Bo Nielsen of the University of Southern Denmark as a visiting professor. Zhao Jinggang, a member of CPC BMU Committee and Vice President, attended the appointment ceremony.
The appointment ceremony
Zhao Jinggang, on behalf of BMU, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Jesper Bo Nielsen, and reviewed the exchange and cooperation between the two universities. The two sides held discussions on talent training, academic research, health care and other aspects, reaching a consensus for collaboration. They agreed to further enhance exchange, achieve mutual complementarity in the interest of common development, and jointly promote the implementation of substantive cooperation between the two universities.
After the ceremony, Prof. Jesper Bo Nielsen gave a report to the representatives of the teachers and students from School of Public Health, introducing the general situation of Denmark and the University of Southern Denmark. The professor and his delegation also visited the University History Museum and went to The Second School of Clinical Medicine (Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University) for exchange.

Lecture scene
Jesper Bo Nielsen is currently a Senior Advisor to the Advisory Board of the Danish Ministry of Health and a member of the Leadership Council of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. He has published 175 papers, 27 books and conference proceedings, and more than 100 national and international symposium presentations, abstracts and posters. He has served as a regular reviewer for several international academic journals, such as Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology, Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, and Nanotoxicology. He has been a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology since 2008, and now he serves as the Vice President of the journal.
