On October 17, Professor Kellemayer Miklós, an Academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Director of the Institute of Biophysics at Semmelweis University, visited our university for academic exchange. Xie Shuyang, member of the CPC BMU Party Committee and Vice President, met the guest and held discussions in the reception room on the tenth floor.
Xie Shuyang extended a cordial welcome to Professor Kellemayer Miklós and provided a concise overview of the university's development and overall profile. He remarked that both Semmelweis University and Binzhou Medical University are medical institutions that can deepen exchanges and foster collaboration across various medical fields. He expressed hope that Professor Kellemayer Miklós would collaborate with our university in academic research, platform development, and talent cultivation, aligning strengths and needs with precision to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
Professor Kellemayer Miklós noted that Binzhou Medical University boasts a picturesque environment, hospitable and amiable faculty and students, and a rich cultural ambiance. He profoundly sensed the university's vigorous developmental momentum and expressed a desire to enhance exchanges and collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific research, and other areas, jointly advancing cooperation and development between the two universities.
After the meeting, Professor Kellemayer Miklós toured the university's history museum and the Medical Research Center and participated in a faculty symposium.
Representatives from relevant departments and colleges participated in the event.
