BMU achieved distinguished results in the 2024 FLTRP·ETIC Cup National College Students' Foreign Language Competition

Recently, the 2024 FLTRP·ETIC Cup Understanding Contemporary China National College Students' Foreign Language Competition concluded successfully. Our  students achieved unprecedented success, securing three national silver awards and three bronze awards.

 

After intense national competition, in the English video category, teams led by Sun Xinyi under Professor Zheng Yuanhua's guidance and Zhang Qingru under Professor Liu Yan's guidance each earned national silver awards. Teams led by Yang Yuxin under Professor Zheng Yuanhua's guidance and Hou Hongyu under Professor Han Qiushi's guidance received national bronze awards. In the International Chinese video category, international student Wahid Junaid, guided by Professor Li Liu, earned a national silver award. In the English International Communication Comprehensive Ability category, student Shi Chang, guided by Professor Chu Lin, obtained a national bronze award.

 

The 2024 FLTRP-ETIC Cup Understanding Contemporary China National College Students' Foreign Language Competition aims to cultivate students' patriotic sentiments and global perspective while developing their breadth of knowledge and depth of thinking. The competition, progressing through institutional, provincial, and national stages, attracted nearly 700,000 participants from over 1,300 institutions.
