On February 19, Ahn Young Mee, dean of Nursing School of Inha University in South Korea, visited BMU. Both sides engaged with in-depth exploration on cooperation in the field of nursing. Xie Shuyang, vice president of BMU, met with the delegation.

The Meeting Site
Xie Shuyang warmly welcomed Ahn Young Mee and her delegation, briefed on the university's history and overall profile. He emphasized that the geographical proximity between China and South Korea provides unique advantages for educational cooperation. He expressed hope to leverage the advantages to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between two universities in the field of nursing, promoting substantive achievements in talent cultivation, academic research, and the sharing of teaching resources, thereby enhancing the international influence and competitiveness of nursing disciplines.
Ahn Ahn Young Mee introduced the basic conditions of Nursing School of Inha University, highlighting the strong faculty team, which includes several doctoral graduates from top international institutions with rich teaching experience and significant academic research achievements. She expressed hope to start with student exchanges and joint master's programs to advance cooperation between the two universities and establish a mutually beneficial international exchange mechanism.
After the meeting, Ahn Young Mee and her delegation held further discussions with the Nursing School of BMU, reaching multiple consensuses on Sino-South Korea cooperative education, scientific research collaboration, faculty and student exchanges. The delegation also visited the university's history museum and conducted a visit to Yantai Affiliated Hospital of BMU (The Second School of Clinical Medicine).
