To further expand the university's international cooperation and build a new pattern of high-level open education, from April 10 to 17, president Huang Fei was invited to lead a delegation on a working visit to universities and medical institutions in Japan and the United States.
During their stay in Japan, the delegation visited Fujita Health University and its affiliated hospital, where they engaged in learning and exchanges at the university's imaging center, DaVinci training center, and rehabilitation center. The delegation held discussions with Professor Nakao Iwata, President of Fujita Health University, and Professor Yohei Ohtaka, Director of Rehabilitation Medicine, among others. They thoroughly communicated on matters such as joint student training in rehabilitation and related fields, faculty exchange programs, and the co-construction of integrated medical and elderly care facilities, clarifying key areas of collaboration. The delegation also visited community elderly care centers and nursing institutions in Japan to study the country's nursing care insurance system and elderly care industry models, providing insights for the development of related disciplines and talent cultivation at our university.

In the United States, the delegation visited MEBO Group, California State University, Los Angeles(CSULA), University of Southern California(USC), and Saint Joseph's University, engaging in in-depth discussions with leaders of these institutions. Huang Fei provided a detailed introduction to BMU's history, disciplinary strengths, affiliated hospital development, and achievements in open education. Discussions covered topics such as Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, joint student training, teacher exchanges, research collaboration, and hospital co-construction. During the visit, BMU signed a memorandum of understanding with CSULA, formally establishing a friendly cooperative relationship and paving the way for deeper collaboration in fields such as nursing and rehabilitation medicine.

Through the visit, the delegation expanded BMU's international network across two continents, deepened exchanges and cooperation with universities in Japan and the U.S., enhanced the university's global influence, and laid a solid foundation for the high-quality development of its open education initiatives.
