BMU's International Students Participating in the Traditional Chinese Cultural Activities for the Mid-Autumn Festival

On September 9th, the China in the Festival——an event for foreign friends to experience the Mid-Autumn Festival activities was held at Aidu Agriculture in Dukou Village, Gaotuan Town, Fushan District. Our schools international students were invited to the quaint and beautiful Goutou Village by the Publicity Department of the Fushan District Committee to participate in the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival cultural activities.


During the eventthe international students visited the ancient townhelped the fruit farmers pick tomatoesgrapes and other fruits. The original rural landscapeancient architectural styleChinese-style wooden furniture and old objects left a deep impression on them. Under the patient guidance of the pastry teacher, they made mooncakes by hand and tasted, experiencing the process of making traditional cuisine and gaining a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese festivals and the cultural connotations they contain.


Through this activity, the international students gained a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional culture and had a more intuitive perception of the vibrant new scene of rural revitalization in China.
