BMU's Prosthetics and Orthotics Program Successfully Passes ISPO International Educational Standards Re-accreditation

2026-02-27

Recently, the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) officially sent a certificate of accreditation for international prosthetist/orthotist education standards to BMU, signifying that BMU's Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) program has successfully passed the international educational standards re-accreditation. This achievement highlights that BMU's training of high-level professionals in prosthetics and orthotics continues to maintain an internationally advanced standard.

From July 9 to 11, 2025, the P&O program at BMU underwent an on-site inspection by an expert panel for ISPO international re-accreditation. The expert panel conducted a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of aspects including the program's talent cultivation objectives, curriculum system, faculty, teaching conditions, student development, and practical skills. As the world's highest-level and most authoritative organization in the prosthetics and orthotics field, ISPO accreditation represents significant recognition of a program's educational standards and talent cultivation quality.
